Cultural Crossroads: Peace Corps Experiences in Eastern Europe and Western Asia

Most US Peace Corps Volunteers live in their assigned countries for two or more years, learning local language, history, and culture as part of their work. Hear firsthand about experiences serving in Ukraine and Azerbaijan - two countries situated at cultural crossroads and where conflict has unfortunately dominated the recent news. What can international service teach us about such complex parts of the world, the relationships we build across borders, and the impact of citizen diplomacy? 

Speakers include Returned Peace Corps Volunteers and current Peace Corps staff.
